Road Travel – There are tow routes to Mahabaleshwar one along NH4 via Pune, Shiwal and Panchgani, which is longer but has better roads. The shorter route is down NH17 via Pen, Mahad and Poladpur. At Poladpur’s bus station take the road going left towards the ghats.
